“ Thinking About It “

These torn, floating bodies are memory after it has been ripped. The red cross and the RIP are not decoration; they mark what the fragments still remember. Nothing here is whole on purpose — the artist is showing how history, family, and the body arrive in pieces. The striped ground at the bottom is the only solid thing left; everything else is still falling or trying to stand. The work tells the viewer: look at the damage, then look at what is still moving.
