Alone

"Seule" explores this loneliness, which does not stem from the absence of others, but from the difficulty of living one’s own life. The face is crisscrossed by paths, breaks, and detours that evoke an inner quest. At the center, a tear reveals a second face: the one we hide, the one that silently bears our wounds, fears, and invisible tears. The ghosts surrounding the composition symbolize the presences that dwell within us. They embody the traumas, memories, fears, or parts of ourselves that we sometimes cannot shake off. Invisible to the world, they nevertheless accompany our every step. The staircase represents the path to the self. A slow, uncertain ascent, where each step becomes an act of courage despite the weight of the past. Through *Seule*, I sought to give form to these silent struggles that defy words. For even in the heart of solitude, a glimmer may remain: one that reminds us that it is always possible to rebuild ourselves.
