We Are Nature Nous sommes la nature

This mixed media collage features an intricate layering of translucent papers and fabrics in vibrant pinks, golds, and neon yellow accents. Botanical prints of ferns and delicate butterflies in soft greens, blues, and oranges are interspersed throughout, creating a harmonious interplay between natural elements and abstract geometric shapes. The composition is dense yet balanced, with a textured surface that invites close inspection. The work evokes a sense of delicate beauty and meditative calm, blending organic motifs with an instinctive, spontaneous creative process.This nature-themed mixed media collage contains various types of papers with images of leaves, plants, birds, butterflies, and paintings of women from art journals. There is decorative rice paper and japanese papers that I have cut and pasted into the collage. I also cut and pasted in pieces of dragon paper and hemp papers that I painted with neon pink and yellow acrylic paints. I cut and layered all the different types of papers on fine art paper, and adhered them with gloss medium. This collage is in honour of nature and women for as the title states We Are All Nature. This collage would be great for nature lovers and women due to the themes.
