Spirits Wake - Le réveil des esprits

This abstract acrylic painting features stylized human figures in warm hues of yellow and deep maroon, outlined with bold strokes and set against a textured, vibrant blue-green background. The figures are arranged in a loose, scattered composition, each surrounded by a glowing halo-like effect that creates a sense of spiritual presence. The brushwork is expressive, with layered colours and visible texture adding depth and movement. The overall mood evokes contemplation and connection, reflecting themes of unity and consciousness. This abstract acrylic painting on paper is about the awakening of a person to their true nature as a light being with an eternal consciousness. I believe we are in a temporary life here as a human, but that we are essentially all spiritual light beings who are part of the Unity or eternal consciousness which others refer to also as God. This painting reflects this awakening to a person's true divinity. The painting also reflects the current beginning of a mass awakening in our society. Though only a small percentage of people have truly awakening thus far, most people are at the beginning or in middle of this process or journey. While some souls are fighting the awakening, nothing can stop it. This is what I believe and many would agree.
