The Light of Raphael

This abstract acrylic painting on canvas has many layers. There is a separate painting underneath it. However, I sometimes feel that something is missing and I know the painting is not done. I returned and painted over it with more layers including a mixture of silver mixed with purple and blue acrylics. On top of this, I added the final layers of neon green overtop sections mixed with silver and purple acrylics. Now, I feel it is where it is meant to be. Sometimes, the previous layers and versions of paintings are part of the story that leads to the final painting. Raphael is an angel in the Abrahamic religions which include Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Raphael is the angel of healing and protection. He is the angel who I feel is currently manifesting the most during this current period. The name Raphael means "God Heals".
