Be at Peace

This mixed media artwork features a large, abstracted human face rendered in dark tones against a deep red background. The face is composed of a textured pattern resembling scales or cells, with smaller circular motifs containing silhouetted figures. The right side of the composition contrasts with a bright white and yellow area displaying bold black text that reads, "BE AT PEACE YOU ARE CHILD OF GOD." The painting combines figurative elements with expressive typography, creating a contemplative mood that invites reflection on spirituality and identity. This abstract mixed media artwork I titled Be at Peace is about experiences I have had and the spiritual warfare we are currently in between Light and Darkness or God and the Devil. Many people may not believe in God or the Devil, so it can it can also be seen as a war between good and evil. Although I always believed in God, I didn't think there was a devil. Unfortunately, I have been proven wrong. There are such things as the devil and demons among us. We have let them into our lives and now we must send them away. We as humans are not meant only to be these physical vessels or "containers". We are eternal beings or consciousness belonging to a Monad oversoul in the Kingdom of Heaven. I cannot say this is true for everyone, as I now understand some people who we think of as human, are in fact not. However, for most of us with a soul, indeed we belong to the Kingdom of Heaven and God.
