I painted this Flower Bouquet in 2020 using watercolor on professional-grade paper. In this Bouquet of flowers, I sought to express an euphoria of colors — from crimson, purple, and violet tones, interacting with cool reds and shades that vibrate as they do in nature. This explosion of colors naturally attracts attention and evokes a feeling of hope and a taste for life. I also played with tonal balance, giving space and air to these elements. I enjoy painting with the wet-on-wet watercolor technique, creating such delicate and expressive color effects. The composition of this Bouquet is structured by the curtain in the background, which begins on the left side and extends toward the right corner of the table. The abundance of flowers is balanced by the surrounding spaces and, most importantly, by the plums placed on the table. The Bouquet is therefore balanced both through its colors and through its overall composition. The Artwork consists only of the watercolor sheet on which the Bouquet is painted, it is not framed.
