Description
Discover "Turbulences," a captivating 20 x 16-inch acrylic on canvas painting, created using painting knives, impasto, and sponge application, framed and varnished. Inspired by the announcement of a hurricane in the Caribbean and driven by an environmental theme, it evokes natural phenomena with striking emotional intensity. It captures the very essence of the elements in motion, inviting us to feel the power and wild beauty of atmospheric turbulence. The swirling hues and dynamic textures, with ridges and striations, catch the light and amplify the rotational energy of the composition. This creates a visual symphony that evokes our ever-changing environment. The lower portion anchors the work in muted shades of gray and brown, suggesting a surface from which the form emerges. “Turbulences” is not just a painting; it is an invitation to reflect and become aware of the strength and fragility of nature. An essential addition to any collection of socially engaged contemporary art.
