Unique work, with a Certificate of Authenticity
On the school’s facade, a wooden bench transforms into a canoe gliding across the surface of a painted ocean. Beneath the waves, a curious sea lion encounters the salmon life cycle—“eggs, fry, and mature salmon”—in blue water crisscrossed by rays of light and dotted with bubbles. The mural invites students to sit “inside” the scene, somewhere between play and contemplation of marine life.
