Description
Textile art piece: original illustration printed on fabric, featuring layered textile appliqué and patchwork collage, and thread embroidery. "Maudite pomme!" (Cursed Apple!) is a work that references the story of Adam, Eve, the serpent, and the apple. Humanity's first couple stands at the center of the Tree of Knowledge, which symbolizes the mysteries of life. The apple—an emblem of temptation—emerges at the heart of the composition, while the serpent lies in wait... Framing included: matting, embroidered signature, UV-resistant acrylic glazing Dimensions of the artwork without the frame: 16 x 12 inches
