Guided Through the Unseen

There are times when our bearings disappear and no direction seems clear. We move forward without knowing exactly where we’re going, feeling as though we can no longer rely on what we knew before. The character moves forward blindfolded, a symbol of letting go of control and certainty. At his side, the dog becomes a guiding figure, inspired by the myth of Anubis, guardian and ferryman of souls in ancient Egypt. Here, death does not represent an end, but the disappearance of an old version of oneself. The dog accompanies the figure through this symbolic darkness, when sight is no longer enough and one must learn to move forward in a different way—through intuition, awareness, and trust. The work speaks to those moments of transition when we no longer know exactly where to go, when something within us must disappear to make way for something else. And despite the uncertainty, we continue to move forward.
