Description
The Long-Finned Pilot Whale: Sleek. Remarkable intelligence. Social. Loyal &Emotionally complex. The "grind" (or grindadráp) is a centuries-old traditional drive hunt in the Faroe Islands that primarily targets long-finned pilot whales and occasionally other cetaceans like Atlantic white-sided dolphins. Large groups of families are driven in from sea to shore where they are brutally slaughtered in the guise of tradition:( This neeeeeeds to stop! #stopthegrind
