Fractured reverie

The work “Fractured Reverie” explores the fragility of a dream at the precise moment it begins to crack. Constructed in horizontal layers, it superimposes textured whites, flashes of luminous ochre, and a deep black band that crosses the canvas like an inverted horizon line. The fine scratches crisscrossing the surface shatter the tranquility of the white, like so many thoughts piercing through sleep. The touches of red—rare and deliberate—act like a heartbeat persisting beneath the surface. Between density and breath, the work suspends the viewer in this murky space where reverie disintegrates without ever disappearing completely; each fracture becomes a light, each layer, a memory held in limbo.
