Peace I

First of a serie inspired by "Peace a theme" de King Crimson: https://music.apple.com/ca/album/peace-a-theme/978458457?i=978459464 “Peace I” explores the tension between forces that seek to come together and find peace, yet never quite manage to achieve balance. The shapes, colors, and textures seem to attract, confront, and repel one another in a perpetual movement, where calm always feels within reach, but is never fully attained. Shades of blue and gray, fractured by the emergence of touches of red, express this duality between softness and intensity. The spontaneous gestures and layered textures give the artwork an energy that echoes the tensions and emotions of the musical composition. “Peace I” thus becomes a representation of a desired yet fragile and elusive peace—a dialogue between forces that seek to understand one another, but never quite manage to meet.
