SOLAR FLARE (2023)

Mixed media, acrylic, epoxy resin, multicolored glitter on framed canvas There are moments when the universe holds its breath just before everything changes. In *Solar Eruption*, a sun crowned in gold explodes silently at the center of the composition. Its light does not radiate in perfect circles: it bursts forth in filaments of red, gold, and blue glitter—a column of pure energy that pierces the blackness of space like a luminous wound. Surrounding it, four celestial bodies bear witness. Cold, bluish moons, crisscrossed by dark veins like scars; planets whose surfaces bear the memory of ancient solar storms. They do not flee. They observe, impassive, the quiet violence of the star that governs them. The night sky sparkles with thousands of iridescent specks—stardust, shards of light—a reminder that the cosmos is never truly empty. It is full of what we cannot yet see. *Solar Eruption* speaks of power that asks for no permission. Of beauty that destroys and creates in the same breath. Of fire that travels millions of kilometers to reach what resists it—and transforms it all the same.
