Chaos is Coming

A thought experiment that started election night 2024 in the United States, "Chaos is Coming" started as a stream of consciousness application of short phrases and scribbles that came to mind as the results unfolded. Capturing my anxiety, fears and even random thoughts I wove a pattern upon which I then began to "pull" the shape of my iconic "Dumbo Bomber" image from "The Fall of Fortress Europe - 1992" piece "Chaos is Coming" presents a vibrant, chaotic composition dominated by a whimsical, cartoon-like elephant figure with exaggerated pink ears and a red hat. The artwork employs a maximalist style, blending graffiti elements, abstract shapes, and scribbled text against a predominantly blue background. The use of bold, contrasting colors and layered imagery creates a sense of overwhelming energy and disorder. The piece balances playful, fantastical visuals with an underlying dark and chaotic mood, reflecting the artist's exploration of panic and perception in a seemingly irrational world.
