After the Chaos

Description of the Work *After the Chaos* explores the interplay between matter, light, and rupture. A fissure runs through the composition, revealing in places the copper buried beneath a surface marked by reliefs, cracks, and erosion. Tones of stone, ochre, and earth are punctuated by mineral green, like a trace of oxidation born of the passage of time. Between the matte surfaces and the depth of the fissure, the work oscillates between tension and calm, disorder and balance. Inspiration This work was born out of chaos—both in its creation and in what it evokes. Restarted several times, torn down, rebuilt, and transformed, it has become a reflection of an inner process in which the need to control the material has gradually given way to acceptance. *After the Chaos* speaks to those experiences that pass through us, fragment us, and silently alter the way we are. Chaos does not truly disappear: over time, it settles, reorganizes itself, and becomes a new layer of who we are. The fissure remains, but around it, light finds its place once more.
