Acceptance

Acceptance explores the quiet and transformative moment of learning to embrace what cannot always be changed. The painting reflects a journey from resistance toward understanding — not as surrender, but as an act of self-compassion and strength. Beneath ordinary light, the composition holds a sense of restraint and uncertainty. Under UV light, hidden forms and luminous colours emerge, suggesting the layers of experience that gradually become visible when we allow ourselves to see things differently. Acceptance speaks to the complexity of living with realities that may not have been chosen. It is about acknowledging pain without allowing it to define the whole of one’s existence, and making space for vulnerability, uncertainty, and hope.
