This work depicts the various experiences and emotions that shape a person’s identity, through a face with exaggerated features surrounded by shapes and symbols. The large eyes, prominent nose, open mouth, contrasts between orange, blue, black, and white, as well as the elements surrounding the face, graphically embody the various emotions, experiences, and moments that make up a person’s journey. By bringing together contradictory expressions and elements on a single face, the work captures how the highs, the lows, and life’s experiences ultimately shape a person’s unique identity.
