Just the way you are

This work depicts the tension between visible beauty and that which remains hidden, through a face divided into two distinct parts. The bright red area, with its raw texture and its apparent bursting forth from the face, embodies an inner beauty striving to emerge, while the pinkish mass covering the other part acts as a surface that conceals and protects. By contrasting the intensity of the red with the softness of this pinkish area, the work captures the contradiction between what seeks to be seen and what remains deliberately hidden.
