This work depicts resilience following a period of suffering, through a surface marked by desiccation and the gradual emergence of renewal. The brown hues covering the composition, the cracked textures, and the absence of living forms embody the traces left by a trial, while the flashes of blue that run across the surface evoke the first signs of a change that is still fragile. By contrasting the aridity of the background with the appearance of these blue touches, the work captures that moment when the pain has not yet faded, but something is nevertheless beginning to return.
