Marvin the Paranoid Android

At the heart of my practice is the M42 figure: a faceless character, crossed out with a dripping X, oscillating between absurdity, resistance, and the search for meaning. The suit and tie—a symbol of social uniformity—cracks beneath the ascending chevrons, a direct echo of Down syndrome, transformed here into a sign of elevation, dignity, and visibility. I always add the number 42. 42 is the wrong answer to everything in *The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy*—an absurd number presented as a universal solution to a world that asks the wrong questions.
