Fight Club

My work offers a visual reimagining of *Fight Club* set in 2026, in a world dominated by images, platforms, and symbols. We live in a society that claims to be free, expressive, and open, but where every gesture, every emotion, and every act of rebellion has already been digested, neutralized, and standardized. A society where everything seems permissible on the surface, but where everything is deeply formatted. The character with the smiley face plays the role of the Narrator/Tyler Durden: a fractured identity, caught between conformity and chaos. His face is no longer human, but manufactured, calibrated for a world that demands the perfect facade. Fight Club soap is no longer a clandestine tool: it has become a logo, a marketing tool, proof that even protest can be turned into a product. The Statue of Liberty embodies the society Tyler wanted to overthrow. But in 2026, she appears weary, resigned—a symbol of an ideal stripped of its power. The work thus denounces a world where everything can be shown, but where nothing can truly disturb. An era where rebellion becomes an image, and where freedom is nothing more than a backdrop.
