Melusina

A sculptural composition captured in pictorial form, *Melusina* crystallizes the culture of disposability and brand-driven consumption in a suspended moment of color and material. A crumpled Starbucks cup and its fractured lid rest on a translucent green surface coated in resin, punctuated by spontaneous splashes of pink and gold—remnants of gestures, waste, and aesthetic contradictions. This work continues my exploration of how everyday objects, often destined for the trash, can be recontextualized into frozen narratives. Neither a bas-relief nor a painting, it blends a presence akin to that of an installation with the contemplative quality of a mural, blurring the line between what is consumed and what is preserved.
