Bird Brain

**Bird is the Word! That much is sure** He seems to have learned what it means to yearn. He's not so much irked as he is concerned, A memory of mirth has him putting in the work. He wants a love that's true, something well-earned, Precious little things—gold, pearls, and myrrh. Whilst gravity jerks from the heart of the Earth, Beside a Maidenhair Fern, he lies perched, Thinking of all that he had observed, Back when he still had her. ______________________ Don't be fooled by the resting @#$% face—this boy's a lover! A wild, colorful bird with electric yellow feathers, piercing blue eyes, and a fiery red face. He may have a playful, chaotic personality and a serious “don’t mess with me” attitude " but when it comes to love, shouldn’t we all? I wanted to turn that familiar expression into a character who looks irked at first glance, but might have a much softer inner life. Don't tell anyone it may translate to his place in the pecking order! <3 - HUMANMINK / Trevor Amaral
