Anne Thibault, known by the artist name Tibo, was born in Quebec City in 1959 and creates her work in Terrebonne, in the Lanaudière region. During secondary school she discovered painting and classical dance and met the painter Marcel Bellerive. Although she grew up in a modest environment, with her father the family’s sole provider, Tibo always received her parents’ support and encouragement.
