Sylvain, a former engineer reconverted to illustration in Montreal, launched the "Oh Mon Doux" project after three years of therapy. Born in France in the 90s, he celebrates the tender representations of love between GBTQ+ men, absent from his childhood through violence, HIV, insults and stereotypes. Practicing watercolor, digital painting, acrylic, oil and print techniques, he draws inspiration from art nouveau, Zorn, Leyendecker, Sargent, nesskain and Loish for his personal and collective healing process.
