Born in Lac-Saint-Jean, Nansie has always nurtured a deep sensitivity to nature and the mysteries of the universe. A self-taught artist, she has developed her practice by exploring various painting techniques and by participating in a range of art events. Her recurring themes revolve around the universe, the sky, and the existential reflections that arise from them, as well as the bearers of freedom and infinity. In her practice, she creates pictorial works through techniques such as pouring fluid acrylic, the layering of epoxy resin to reveal depth and transparency, and the incorporation of graphic and symbolic elements inspired by star charts. This combination gives form to a visual language that is both dreamlike and spiritual. Through her creations, she seeks to invite viewers to feel the energy of the connection between nature and the universe, to perceive a subtle and vibrant spirituality that inhabits every beat of a wing and every fragment of a star.
