I am a multidisciplinary artist from Québec, Canada, who has been working in illustration and painting for over ten years. Throughout my career, I have explored a wide range of creative fields, including theatrical set design, costume and character design, video games, digital illustration, and graphic design. Each of these experiences has broadened my artistic perspective and continues to shape my painting practice today. My work as a painter has been featured in various exhibitions and artistic events, including Galerie Urbania, the Montreal Home Show, Café Packwood, and several other exhibition venues throughout Québec. My Expression collection was born from my fascination with the human face. My background in character design taught me that long before words are spoken, a single glance or facial expression can tell an entire story. Today, I bring that sensitivity to canvas by creating semi-realistic portraits in which every subject possesses a distinct presence, inviting viewers to imagine their own narrative. I work primarily with oil and acrylic, sometimes incorporating varnish or textured materials to enrich the surface and depth of the painting. I pay particular attention to light, shadow, and the subtle nuances of the human face to enhance the emotional intensity of each expression. In contrast, my backgrounds are created in a more intuitive and spontaneous manner. Broad, expressive gestures, layered textures, vibrant colour combinations, and dripping techniques create a dynamic contrast with the precision of the figures, bringing movement, energy, and depth to each composition. Through bold colours, striking contrasts, and expressive faces, my goal is to create a genuine emotional connection between the artwork and the viewer.
