My practice translates the color palettes from my graphic world onto paper, exploring them in an intuitive and expressive way. This pictorial process allows me to move from the screen to a physical medium, while maintaining a sensitive approach to color and composition. The themes I explore revolve around my joys and concerns, as well as the faces and landscapes that only boredom allows us to truly appreciate. In a consumerist world where we constantly strive for more, faster, it is in these moments of slowness that I experience my greatest creative moments, perceiving in every color and texture a new universe to bring to life on paper. I aspire to create surrealist works, built upon light, inhabited by bodies and an organic environment. In this way, I hope to evoke a long-dreamed-of utopia: a living, poetic, deeply sensitive universe that tells the story of the possible reconstruction of an inner world through color.
