“I am exploring how colorful darkness can be.”

Painter · Montréal, Canada
I'm a multidisciplinary artist, primarily interested in exploring the universal fragility of the human condition, with some emphasis on the problem of individual identity. I work with a variety of techniques, including digital collage, illustration, creative editing of digital images with filters, acrylic painting, mixed media and traditional collage. Added to all this is a prolific output of instrumental music, both eclectic and experimental. The common element of my work in the visual arts is the presence of the human, whether in the form of skeletons, silhouettes, shadows, eyes, or other elements which, being universal, allow any willing observer to feel directly challenged and questioned, and all my works carry a component of intentional imperfection, because the error of the other helps us to let our guard down. My style could be defined as dark, surreal pop art.
