Bio of Leslie Bank-Satz Leslie Bank-Satz worked in the animation industry for many years doing colour design and production work. She studied Fine Arts at Concordia University as well as commercial art at the Vesper George School of Art in Boston, Mass. Leslie now lives and works in Ste. Agathe Des Monts where she creates all manner of whimsies, whether on canvas, furniture, clocks, sculpture and assorted beading crafts. She focuses largely on the nostalgic and the whimsical, primarily painting on canvas and on recycled furniture incorporating bold colour and strong elements of design. She has exhibited at various galleries in Montreal, and in the Laurentians. Her passion is finding the beauty and whimsey in the ugly and the ordinary, giving new life to the old and obsolete, and presenting her own quirky view of the world.
