Color Conversations
Color Conversations explores the interplay of color, shape, and texture through a series of geometric abstractions. Bold, translucent forms overlap and interact against subtly distressed, layered surfaces. Balancing the precision of my graphic design background with the spontaneity of my mixed-media process, each composition finds its own rhythm between structure and freedom.
Vessels of Color
Vessels of Color reimagines the traditional floral still life through bold color, playful abstraction, and layered textures. Drawing on my graphic design background, I combine simplified botanical shapes, collage, expressive marks, and distressed surfaces. Each composition explores the tension between structure and spontaneity, where carefully arranged forms give way to joyful chaos, celebrating movement, individuality, and the beauty of imperfection.
Garden Fragments
Garden Fragments is a vibrant mixed-media series inspired by the colors, shapes, and joyful chaos of nature. Rather than depicting a garden literally, I break down botanical forms into bold, playful abstractions, combining cut-paper shapes, layered textures, expressive marks, and unexpected color combinations. Drawing on my background in graphic design, I explore the tension between clean, structured compositions and the spontaneity of intuitive mark-making.
