Alexandra Hayes is an artist who fuses glamour, femininity and eccentricity in a universe that is at once surreal, eclectic and psychedelic. Marked by strong contrasts, from black and white to ultra-vivid colors, she transforms her personal experiences into works vibrant with feminine energy. Inspired by avant-garde fashion, make-up, esoterica, drag queens, gore, vampires and Bollywood aesthetics, she works in acrylic and spray-paint, enriching her canvases with textures, sequins, diamonds and crystals to create deeply contrasting, resolutely glamorous pieces.
