WORDS WITH COLOR Marie Cliche was born in Saint-Joseph de Beauce. After earning a degree in architecture from the University of Montreal, she first practiced architecture for a few years before becoming an “architect of the imagination.” Her imagination first found expression through words that evoke images. She dabbled in screenwriting, which earned her second prize at the Paris Francophone Film Festival, and then directed a film about art, *De l’ocre à l’azur*, a finalist at the Hot Docs International Film Festival in Toronto.
