Nul ne sait (looking for the Original Spirit)

I began this work with a sense of unease, reflected in a poem I was writing at the same time, the first line of which read: "I sought the color of your dwelling." Then, as I progressed, I felt a maturation in my technique, and I sat down to discuss the birth of painting and the search for the primal spirit. The work is characterized by its "cave-like" effect, with a pale ochre background traversed by broad lines and bursts of paint that seem to signify both a tropical density and an abstraction in which chimeric forms emerge. Perhaps among them is a couple (?) in a canoe, green like the surrounding environment, searching for adventure, amidst gusts of wind. And at the far left, is that the primal spirit appearing in the filigree of a dragon's head?
