Artwork Description

Welded self-sculpture #2 out of Cimple Math Studios. The artist was inspired as a child by his great uncle Bill Bell visiting the farm and watched the craftsman. Never forgetting how he watched the man build a metal toy by simply welding pieces he was just grabbing out of a scrap pile in the Lemsford Saskatchewan farm yard. Decades later attempting the same feat himself resulting in this, ironically “what he needed that for”, the scrap metal at least. The artist depicting himself with an empty circle for a skull representing the complete lack of reasoning for his lifetime accumulation of clutter.
