Sky Meets Earth (2026)

Sky Meets Earth explores the quiet boundary where atmosphere and landscape converge. A vast field of layered blues stretches across the upper portion of the painting, shifting from luminous turquoise to deeper, more contemplative tones and creating the feeling of an expansive sky. Below, the earth is built through contrasting layers of cream, ochre, gray, and black. Loose, fragmented marks suggest rock, shoreline, or weathered terrain, while flashes of blue appear within the ground, subtly connecting it back to the sky above. The thin horizon becomes the painting's point of balance—a place where two distinct worlds meet. The work evokes stillness, distance, and the enduring connection between sky and earth, while its expressive surface suggests the constant movement and transformation of nature.
