Meadow Under a Blue Sky

This work by Patrick Richard depicts an abstract landscape dominated by shades of blue and yellow. The sky, painted with broad, dynamic brushstrokes, contrasts with the textured ground, which evokes a meadow or a field of flowers. The spontaneous and intuitive composition highlights the variations in color and texture, creating an atmosphere that is both soothing and vibrant. The work illustrates the artist’s emotional and free-spirited approach, blending shapes and colors to express a sensation rather than a realistic depiction.
