Description
This large-format painting stands out for its rich texture and striking earthy color palette. Against a deep, dark background, Ronald Poirier orchestrates a dense mosaic of light-colored figures in shades of ochre, beige, sand, and hints of pink. The complex interweaving of organic forms, stylized eyes, and graphic motifs creates a sense of depth and perpetual motion. Both mysterious and immersive, this painting offers a captivating depth, showcasing the artist’s narrative virtuosity and sensitivity to materiality. (Update: This painting is part of the collection of the Centre d’arts contemporains du Québec)
