Going Up The Main

This artwork was created during the "Art Nights" that a friend organized every Monday evening in his loft on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Over approximately four evenings, I wanted to paint the concept of the importance of the Main in the development of the city, through the direct link with the port during the era of boat migrations (the light at the bottom of the boulevard) and the establishment of businesses and institutions of all kinds, which support the cultural development of the city and all the inhabitants of the Saint Lawrence Valley.
