The First Day

This abstract expressionist painting features a dynamic interplay of vivid colors and textures. A luminous blue sphere, suggestive of a moon, dominates the center against a deep blue and black textured background, evoking a celestial or aquatic scene. White sweeping arcs cross the composition, adding movement and contrast. The outer edges are framed with intense red and dark tones, creating a striking border that enhances the central imagery. The spontaneous brushwork and layered application of paint contribute to a sense of depth and emotional intensity.
