Lisbon I - Castelo de São Jorge

A textured tribute to Lisbon’s iconic hilltop view, this piece merges the soft geometry of terracotta rooftops with the dreamy haze of Castelo de São Jorge. Dotted motifs and layered transparencies mimic the scattered light that dances over the city. This work celebrates Lisbon’s unique blend of ancient fortresses and colourful neighbourhoods, seen through an abstract, contemporary lens and was inspired by the picture I took from our hotel room in 2025.
