Description
This highly intense vertical painting offers a captivating immersion into Ronald Poirier’s visual language. Dominated by an expressive palette of ochre, burgundy red, and cream tones, the composition unfolds a profusion of symbols, mythical creatures, and intertwined anthropomorphic figures. The dynamic rhythm of the dark contours and the interplay of overlapping layers create a texture that is almost rock-like or hieroglyphic. Both organic and structured, this painting infuses the exhibition space with a powerful, primal, and narrative energy. (Update: This painting belongs to the City of Sorel-Tracy.)
