Las Paletas (2026)

Las Paletas 30 × 30 Acrylic, spray paint, and pastel on canvas Summer has a special way of turning the simplest moments into cherished memories. Las Paletas draws inspiration from those carefree childhood afternoons—the excitement of choosing a brightly colored popsicle, the warmth of the sun, the sweetness, the laughter, and that feeling that summer could last forever. Here, the colors become the memory itself. Vibrant and layered, they coexist like different personalities, experiences, and identities, creating a richness born of their diversity. Each color possesses its own energy, yet none exists in isolation. Together, they create a joyful rhythm that celebrates the beauty of our differences and the freedom to simply enjoy the present moment. For me, Las Paletas evokes those simple, spontaneous moments of happiness that stay with us long after childhood. A taste of summer. An explosion of colors. A moment of pure joy.
