The Green Fountain

For this project, the instructions were to either follow or deviate from the style of the artists presented by the teacher. Among the artists, I chose Hurvin Anderson because of his technique of working on tree leaves with an abstract style; the way he works with shadows is what interests us most in his works, even though they aren’t realistic. My second source of inspiration was based on decorative painting techniques, as seen in the works of Laura Fineus. However, for the purposes of this explanation, I focused solely on the ideas and not on how we could reproduce the same brushwork techniques used by these artists.
