Beauty and the Void

"Beauty and the Void" explores the experience of feeling trapped within a space from which escape seems impossible. The flower represents the self in the process of becoming—reaching toward something beyond its present circumstances, yet continually finding itself suspended within the same darkness. The surrounding void becomes both a physical and emotional space: a place of isolation, uncertainty, and repetition, where progress can feel almost within reach but never quite attainable. Yet the flower continues to grow. Its winding form suggests the persistent work of becoming—of reaching, changing, and searching for a way beyond the boundaries that hold it. Beauty exists even within the void, but the journey is learning how to become strong enough to leave it. *Beauty and the Void* explores the experience of feeling trapped in a space that seems impossible to leave. The void surrounding it becomes both a physical and emotional space: a place of isolation, uncertainty, and repetition, where progress sometimes seems within reach without ever truly being attained. Yet the flower continues to grow. Its sinuous form evokes the persistent work of becoming—reaching, changing, and seeking a path beyond the limits that imprison it. Beauty exists even at the heart of the void, but the journey lies in learning to become strong enough to leave it behind.
