Flowers for Steven

#1 of 17 in series. 17 abstract garden scapes created in memory of each of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims. When hung together, these paintings will create a memorial garden in paint and chalk. In 2024, I flew to Wisconsin to plant a guerilla garden at the site of the Oxford Apartments in Milwaukee where Dahmer committed most of these abominations. In over 30 years, no one has done anything at this site to commemorate these young men. An empty, fenced in lot is all that remains of the building. No plaque, park or acknowledgement, just a void hoping to be forgotten. Flowers will now bloom there every spring.
