Description
This work explores expansion of consciousness and human emotions, and encourages viewers to introspect and connect. The painting depicts a female silhouette standing between two worlds, leaving her old reality behind while entering a new, unknown and mysterious one. She leaves behind a divine connection, accomanied by deeply disturbinig fears, represented by the creature in the bottom right. The single apple in the tree is representing the couple’s love, using the forbidden fruit from the biblical story of Adam & Eve as symbolism. In her new reality, she uses her previous experience to see through the veil of illusion, represented by the eye pulling down the cosmic veil. This imagery is inspired by the animated series “Undone”.
