In the space between, at the foot of the quay

One foot on the dock, one foot in the space between—the space between the two of them! I chose to create a piece set away from the bustle, on the docks of my personal memories or those shared with my two sons. I have traveled often between Montreal and Quebec City—two cities I cherish and where I love to celebrate. Yet, nothing compares to those moments of renewal spent by the water’s edge with my two sons at sunrise or sunset. I chose warm colors to represent the family warmth I feel when I am with them! Here is my positive, poetic thought: At the foot of the dock... I see the expanse of water dancing before me. In the distance, I spot the large boat. The wind blowing through its vast pleasure-sailing sails carries away the memory of that space between— Of the day we were happy, anchored in the present moment. Despite everything, I remain hopeful, looking forward to seeing the two of you again.
